Presentation Response

I had the pleasure to do my presentation on Martha Colburn. I love how authentic and unapologetic her work felt. She does everything by hand rather than transitioning with technology, which I feel like very few people do nowadays. My favorite piece of hers was Cats Amore. Marlon Riggs’ story was really inspiring. Self Portrait Response

I was insanely impressed with all of my fellow peers’ self-portraits. Molly did an excellent job in giving me a sense of what life is like with claustrophobia with her soundscape and color contrasts. I was really intrigued with Charles’ “confessional” style film, it had me wanting more. Ashley’s flower metaphor was amazing. Austin’s film was so touching, and I agree with everything his family said! I really liked how intimate Marika’s film to her boyfriend felt. I liked how of Rory’s film was sort-of...
